Sunday, October 6, 2013 Update

Today is my aunt Becky and my niece Ashley's birthday.  Happy Birthday to you both!  Today is also our first beautiful fall day here in Houston. It was so nice to wake up to cooler temperatures outside.  I had breakfast with James and the children, spent some time with them, and then headed to the hospital as they all headed out to the park.  Today Lenah's tummy looks more swollen to me than yesterday.  Her bilirubin count was down a bit more today from yesterday.  6.9 to 6.4 (yay!).  Her blood cell count was down today from yesterday (boo!).  She had to have blood transfusions Wednesday and Thursday nights because it was too low.  She had a tiny bit of blood in her stools today. Her potassium was again low today as well.  All other stats are within her normal range.  She seems more uncomfortable today than yesterday.  I think her tummy hurts.  She is still on the ventilator, but they turned the pressure down a bit today.  She is also still being fed IV nutrition.

Here are her pictures from today.

This is the view from the window by her crib.
